Amy Paulson


 Miss Amy graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor's Degree in business administration and public relations. After working in an advertising agency for 5 years, Amy decided to fulfill her life-long dream of becoming a teacher. She received a Master's Degree in Education from National-Louis University and taught kindergarten in Riverside and LaGrange for 8 years. The last 4 years in LaGrange, Amy developed math center programs for teachers K-5 in order to meet the academic needs of all children. For the past 2 years, Amy has been a "stay-at-home mom" and tutors children in the evenings

Leslie Murray


 Miss Leslie graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelors Degree in K-9 grade education. Leslie taught first and second grade in Palatine for 13 years. During the time she also received a Masters Degree in reading and instruction from Concordia University. Leslie also worked with pre-scholars for St. James Church as a Religious Education teacher. Leslie was also involved in tutoring children in the evenings and in summers. Miss Leslie lives in Arlington Heights with her husband, John and three kids Isabella, Julia and Johnny. 

Mary Mesch


Miss Mary has been teaching Creative Movement at Henry’s House since 2013. In 2018, she joined the Henry’s House team as a classroom teacher. Ms. Mary studied English at Notre Dame and received her teaching certificate through Northwestern University. She has worked with kids in summer camps, as a nanny and as a classroom teacher. She currently also works in a CPS preschool classroom. She has 2 children and lives with her husband on the north side of Chicago. She is very active at her children’s school as a parent volunteer.
